More than 15 years ago, we were staying with the family in the Golf hotel at Santa Cristina d’Aro. On a scenic drive, my mother and brother discovered a restaurant called Can Roquet in Romanyà de la Selva. I honestly still don’t understand how they ever found this place but I am very glad they did.
In my view one of the better fish restaurants in the region. Even in early spring, a lunch outside on the terrace is possible with a nice view over the always busy port of Palamós. Of course, you can order the Gambas de Palamós for nowadays a small fortune but there are other dishes for me that makes this restaurant a to-go-to place.
